This slightly longer Triathlon is held at Camp Cherokee located in beautiful Kings Mountain State Park and along the Kings Mountain National Military Park. It is an international level triathlon with an open water (lake - non motorboat) swim, a picturesque bike ride and a fully tree canopied run. Funds from this event go to sponsoring campers for the next years summer program.

The first was in 2009 and was a great success - We had triathletes from Savannah, GA to Huntersville, NC and is joining the Upstate Triathlon Series for the 2010 year as it is no longer just a Sprint Series...
